Characteristics: Excellent chelating agent, forms stable complexes with Ca²⁺ and Mg²⁺ in hard water, softening water and enhancing cleaning. Forms protective films on iron, lead, zinc to prevent corrosion; strong dispersing ability and stable pH buffering capacity.
Recommended Use:
As a complexing and pretreatment agent in cyanide-free electroplating
Metal cleaning agents and industrial detergent formulations
Scale prevention and water treatment in boilers and circulating water systems
Oil drilling mud treatment
Textile and dyeing auxiliaries
In food processing, can be used as emulsifier, quality improver, or chelating agent (subject to local regulations)
